3/11/2024 0 Comments Heavy bullets in 444 marlin![]() If you have a reloading bench, the Lee Turret Press is all you need and if you don't have a reloading bench, you can use the Lee hand press.Ī powder measure speeds things up a lot with single stage reloading and so dies the turret press compared to a single stage press but before you seat your bullets you have to carefully visually inspect them after you've charged them with powder and this is where 50 count loading blocks come in handy and are a necessity. ![]() But I have an RCBS/Ohaus scale and and RCBS Uniflow powder measure both of which I bought used on Ebay for less than half the cost of new. I have both Rcbs and Lee dies and think they're both just as good. ![]() I Like some of the Lee products but not their powder measures or scales. Hopefully the Hornady ammo you bought is 265 grains The heavier weight bullets have better sectional density and are better suited for larger game. Click to expand. With the 444, go with heavier bullets than 240 grain.
